repointing loft wall

I live in a terraced house. the mortar of the party walls in the loft are crumbling. Should I use cement or lime mortar to repoint. House was built in early 1900s

use a mix of 4 sand 1 lime 1 cement

I was going to use some lafarge pre mixed which is

6 sand 1 lime 1 cement

Would this be okay to use?
