Revamp my old wooden shed

Post by spencersmum31 » Sun Aug 11, 2013 11:06 am

When I bought my house a year ago it had a huge shed in the garden ... it was not very weather proof .. Ive had the flat roof re felted so that's water tight now ... the walls are basic wood panels that have gaps so not air tight ... I want to make it all air tight and damp proof so if I have guests they can comfortably sleep in it ... the previous owner put polystyrene boards in the gaps inside but I want to make it more like a room ... Is there some way of waterproofing the walls cheaply then insulate and plaster board or ply board the walls ??? I want to attack it myself to keep costs down ...

you can buy pvc cladding for the exterior, fiberglass for insulation or spray foam, or kingpan panels and tounge and groove wood for the interior
