We are about to embark on some alterations to our property which involves changing the windows and roof tiles (amongst other things). Just after opinions on roofing to match grey anthracite windows. Our planning consent is for these windows and a red roof tile (flat, not pan-tile). The builder has suggested a slate effect tile would match better but the planners were resistant to this. Having looked online, we like the Sandtoft Calderdale Terracotta Red tile as this has grey tones in it and we think it would look ok. The brickwork is light brown/reddish. We are having an oak porch built too. Interested to know the opinions of others.
