Running Toilet Waste Pipe Under Floorboards

Post by joe_thurrock » Wed Feb 05, 2020 9:08 pm

Hi, I'm about to start embarking on refitting my bathroom and moving the toilet. Is there any reason why I can't run the toilet waste under the floorboards providing the joists run in the correct direction. If I can avoid it I don't want to box the pipes in,and the bathroom is too small for a false wall. It's about 6ft to the soil stack. Cheers Joe

Use glued pipe & get about a 1-1/2" to 2" fall on the pipe over 6'. But no problem otherwise.
