Rust Effect Intumescent Paint

Postby Man of alloy » Sat Mar 18, 2017 10:02 am

We are having work done to create an open plan kitchen and have opted to keep a 6 metre long steel beam exposed rather than boxed in. This option requires that the beam is primed with red oxide and then painted with the requisite fire proof intumescent paint. We have been trying to identify a supplier that can offer a 'rust effect' paint of this nature.

Please can we ask if anyone has proceeded this way before and/or knows of a supplier with this product.
