Sash Window Crimp Tool Required

The cord has snapped. i see how to replace. Can't crimp the cord to the metal sleeve hard enough. What tool req?

if its the sash cord, that connects to the balance weight, you just thread it through the hole and tie a knot in it

It's the end thats connected to the window. Maybe a screw through the rope would be better.

So far thats holding

then you use nails, through the rope to fix it, don't use screws.
