Has anyone had a replacement central heating system installed via the Energy Trust in Scotland and had difficulties. I received a replacement heating system via the Energy Trust which was subcontracted to a company which did not do a good job. Several errors made, one of which was serious, and numerous items damaged both within the house and outside the house. Disappointingly, the Energy Trust can do nothing, Scottish Gas are dragging their heels and the subcontracted company in question, have been told by Scottish Gas, that they have not to communicate with me. The system, now a month old, is still not operating fully and I wonder if anyone has come up against similar circumstances with an Energy Trust installation. Naturally I am delighted I received the replacement system but wonder why the abysmal treatment. It surely can't be, because I received it free of charge.
