Settings for Single Level Mixture Tap on Shower

Post by mash.patel » Sat Mar 22, 2008 8:18 pm

We have a shower with a fitted single level mixer tap. When we had it fitted we requested the plumber to set the max temperature relatively low as we had young children at the time. We know what to increase the maximum temperature and cant figure our what to do. I have removed the cover plate and can see the cold and hot water pipes coming into a misture fitting but cant see anywhere which to adjust - any ideas?

Without the make and model - I doubt you'll have any luck finding your answer.

Try to find manufacturers instructions.

There's many makes and models of showers out there, more precise information would be needed.
