I have a Triton Cassini thermostatic concentric mixer shower. The on/off handle has got so stiff and will not turn all of the way around. Any ideas? (I notice there is a silicone ring in the shower body.

It may have seized up through hard water limescale. How old is it ?
I turn mine all the way round once or twice each month to keep it loose, also before I turn my shower off i run it for 10 seconds on cold so to get the warm water out of the mixer. The warm water is what produces scale.
