Slippery wooden staircase

Post by hfaint » Thu Jun 21, 2007 6:13 am

We have a new wooden staircase and the steps are very slippery, we do not polish and have tried everything but eventually someone slipped and fell so we need to do something about it. Can you advise on what can be put on wooden steps other than carpet. We have looked for grips of some kind but have had not success. We would like to kekep it as natural as possible but if not may have to consider carpet.

Click on the company logo in our garage flooring project, I believe they do some kind of non slip fittings for staircases
