Sloping Roof

by Clara » Mon Dec 12, 2011 5:19 pm

Similar to the last post...our home is 3 storey town house type built 1982 with bedrooms in the roof space. Have installed cavity wall insulation and velux double glazed windows but have minimal, if any, insulation between plasterboard ceiling and roof tiles. Rooms are very hot in summer and very cold in winter. What is the best product/method to insulate please and will it qualify for government grants?

If you have a breathable roof membrane like tyvek, then you could use triso super 10.If you dont then use sprayfoam insulation
