Slow draining kitchen sink after refitting

by rf22095 » Sat Oct 30, 2021 1:55 pm

Hi,

I recently changed my kitchen sink and after refitting with new waste pipe work the sink has been incredibly slow to drain. When the pipe work is empty the overflow from the trap on the underside of the sink has been filling first, Ive checked all of the pipe work throughout the kitchen and no blockages, and I can pour water into the pipe work later on in the waste system and it empties fine. Its just from the bowl that it appears to be a problem. Any ideas?!

Thanks

Hi rf22095,
Check your levels, is the new trap outlet lower than previously.
