I cant remember how to unglue joints on existing soil pipe pipework, I think I used solvent and flame before and a wizzer. I cant cut into the main pipe and use new for various reasons. Im moving a soil pipe as the close coupling toilet is miles away from the wall. I have dug out to the bend, however i've got now where to connect a new fitting its all jointed to the outside wall. I think I know what to do Im just a bit loath to go a head and make things worse.
Solvent adhesive cannot be removed. It is not the glue that has joined the pipe together. Solvent works by melting the pipe and mixing the two surfaces to form a permanent bond.
