The house I have just bought has two soil pipes, a second one was added a number of years ago. There were 2 toilets upstairs but I have removed the one that was connected to the original soil pipe, so I would like to remove the original pipe and cap it under floor level as it currently runs down through part of the ground floor extension and takes up a lot of room where it is boxed in. Can anyone advise me if this is possible and what I would need to use? I presume venting wouldn't be a problem as the second pipe is still vented??
