Solid Roof on Small Conservatory

by enfield250 » Wed Mar 11, 2020 5:28 pm

Hello!
I have a small 3m x 3m conservatory at the back of my house.
I want to replace the 10mm twin wall roof to make the space more usable. Is it still possible to replace the polycarbonate with OSB and felt, with 100mm rock wool and plasterboard.
I seem to remember you could buy warm roof for extensions etc. I have had a quote from a conservatory company of £6000, to do the job. I'm told building regs. do not apply to conservatories.
Any help please!!!

I think a warm roof is a better option for you.
you bought a warm roof instead of replacing it.
but you have the possibility of replacing polycarbonate with OSB.
better option near to me purchase roof
