Soundproofing a garage for a DJ room

Postby BennyDigital1 » Sun May 23, 2021 10:00 pm

Hello guys, I’ve just come across this forum, looks like it could be really helpful asking some knowledgeable people about my attempt at soundproofing.

Here goes, I have a single skin garage and would love to set my DJ equipment up in there but I want to sound proof it as much as possible as not to upset the neighbours (and obviously as cheap as possible) I’m looking at making a timber room within the room but I don’t want to build it, pump my speakers up for it to be a total waste of time. Height is an issue so what I put on the floor for starters to isolate the sound is something I have no idea about.

Any help all round would be hugely appreciated, thank you, Ben.
