Spur from a cooker switch

by winterbehaviour » Sun Jun 15, 2008 1:26 pm

Hi this may be a silly question but I can only find conflicting information on the subject, I want to know if it is possible to run a spur from a cooker switch to a fused unit in order to provide the power for a cooker hood.

Yes the fused spur should be within 3 meters of the cooker switch as the cable between is not protected or it will need to be same size as supply cable to switch.
