Spur to Central heating boiler

by MrElectric » Mon Nov 26, 2007 2:37 pm

Hi,

I have taken a spure from a ring main(32amp) to connect the condensing boiler using a FCU ( I think it has a 13amp fuse).
Is this OK or do I need a direct spur from the conusmer unit with a 6mp fuse?

Appreciate any help on this.

Many Thanks

spur is ok off the ring main, install 3 amp fuse in spur, and 3-core cable from spur to boiler, assume you have used 2.5 mm cable from ring main to new spur.
