Still hear a ringing echo with soundproof foam

Postby mathewprince » Tue Feb 09, 2021 6:33 pm

Hello!

I need some help with a little 4'x4.6' closet that I've converted into an office/vocal booth. On all four walls are pyramid and Grid acoustic foam, and over the door are two moving blankets. Inside the room are two floating shelves, and a desk.

It almost sounds like there isn't any foam in there at all. In my recordings, there's a slight reverb/echo that has a bit of a ring to it. What else do I need to do help dampen the noise in the room? The ceilings are about 9 feet tall, fyi.

Thanks,

Mathew

Hi matthewprince
Have you tried fitting acoustic foam on the ceiling?
