Stone Bay Windows (3 Off)

by scelec » Fri Feb 25, 2011 12:38 pm

Hi all,
Just wonderin when measuring up for Bay Windows (3) with stone pillars, do you still deduct 10mm for clearance or not, as they can fit up against recesses?
Thanks, Steve

scelec,
The 10mm makes fitting nice and easy but you will end up with a gap which will need packers ans filling.
If the new windows are timber make them nearly dead size and plane them to fit on site for a really snug fit.
