we have just had our garden done up and have used a slate as steps to the front door. The path leads to an existing pebble mix raised area. To hide the `porch' we used loose stone but it looks odd near the mintaro slate which has been cemented also on the pebble mix porch. I thought it would look better if we put coloured flat stones around the mintaro slate just near the doorway. would i need to cement the stones in around the slate? Is there any other way to stick the stones to a pebble mix??
