Hello,
I moved into my house a couple of months ago and can hear a a strange noise at night. It is hard to describe properly, more of a vibration than actual sound. My phone couldn't record it.
I have spent a lot of time hunting for it - turning off the water, gas and electric, yet still I can hear it. I mainly hear it during the night, but have heard it at times during the day when it is quiet in the house.
I have an alarm, but this sounds quiet when I listen through the wall. My gut feeling is it is something related to the hot water tank, but I don't know what.
If anyone has any suggestions as to what it could be, I'd be very grateful!
