We recently painted 2 rooms, and these strange stains have appeared after the paint dried. They look like water/condensation drips, but we have no condensation issues in either room.
Totally baffled as to the cause, and therefore what to do to fix.
What paint did you use and what paint was there before? Did you do any prep beforehand or just painted on? was the previous paint glossy finish? Old / new ?

We used Dulux Walls & Ceilings.
Prep was to clean with soapy water.
Previous paint is glossy and not sure on how old, done by the owners before us.
As you mentioned the previous paint was glossy, which means that it was probably oil-based paint. Oil-based paint is not compatible with water-based paint, so when you applied the Dulux Walls & Ceilings, which is a water-based paint, the surfactant leached out and caused the stains.
