i have a conservatory of lean-to style constructed of standard pvcu against the gable end of my house. It measures 5m in width (5 x 1m panels) and 2.7m in depth with a roof angle of 23 degrees from the horizontal. A small section of wall above the conservatory is badly in need of re-pointing.
Is it safe to lay a strong board across the supporting beams and stand on it in order to access the area concerned? If so any tips on achieving a safe working platform would be appreciated..
Given the area involved I am reluctant to go to the expense of full scaffolding.
