I wonder if anyone can help me,
I have a flourescent tube light above a vanity mirror that flickers and makes lots of noise when switched on (annoying buzzing sound) and I want to change the fitting to 3 spotlights. Is this easy to do? If so.. how?
I'm relatively new to DIY so the less technical talk the better!!

I would look at a electronic ballast for existing lamp. A HF ballast will remove flicker as to noise told sometimes very high pitched noise but I have never heard it.
