I have a double glazing fanlight window that has become stuck. The handle turns but the window will not open at all. I have tried using an Allen key to shoot the bolt with no success. Looking at an identical window in the house where the mushroom part of the locking mechanism is situated by the handle it goes into a plastic housing one slot for trickle flow the other for fully closed therefore I can’t see a way of getting at the mechanism with an Allen key however, surely there must be a way. Can any member advise me how to go about opening this window or freeing the mechanism. Thank you.
