Switchmaster 9001

by vettriano » Sat Jan 03, 2009 1:05 pm

I have recently moved into a rented house that has the switchmaster 9001 fitted. I have a separate boiler and hot water tank.

I have seached the internet for a manual because I am currently spending a fortune on trying to keep the house warm, and having to boil gallons of water in the tank ... which I really dont need.

As there is an electric shower, I rarely ever use the bath.

There does'nt seem to be anyway of just having the central heating on without the hot water being on too.

Can you please advise me if it is possible to just have the heating on without the hot water? Or is there anyone who has a manual?

Many thanks for any advise.
Steve.

vettriano,
There is a good chance that your system is gravity fed hot water and pumped central heating. The controller will be set so that you cannot run the ch without the hot water being on.
