Hi Folks. Father-in-law gave me his old B&D Workmate which had jaws made of laminated bamboo. Although kept in shed or garage (neither of which is really dry) the jaws have fallen to bits. Literally!
No Model number is recorded on any part of the workmate so buying replacements not an option, really.
New jaws for sale are hideously expensive and I have two very much older Workmates with ply jaws which (though battered) are still OK.
What I was wondering was if anyone knows how to get drawings or templates of the various jaws? We have an excellent timber yard near us in Totton, so can get hold of decent birch or beech ply.
