Hi
Just wanted to say thank you to Plumbbob for suggestion about pump. Turned it down and now no problem. Central heating the quietest it has been for years!

Aw shucks. Blush You're welcome. Glad it helped.

Just hope all the radiators still get hot. Turning the pump down could reduce the water form the rads furthest from the boiler.

Radiators

by techysci » Fri Oct 24, 2008 1:19 pm

Hi Plumbbob
Initially three radiators downstairs didn't get very hot but looking at other posts on the website I closed the valves on some of the rads upstairs and they quickly got very hot downstairs. Since then, with all valves open, not a problem.
Still think the system layout is probably not optimal. But at the mo am happy with warmth and no overflow.
Thanks again!
