thermostat problems

hi i have my central heating boiler working with a drayton p711 timeswitch and an rst1 thermostat. thermostat reaches desired tempreture and then cuts out, but when room temp drops it fails to call for heat. do you its faulty or a possible wiring problem

My guess is the thermostat is faulty, but it is difficult to be sure without testing it.

Could be a faulty thermostat, If it's just started and has previously worked. Then it's not going to be a wiring problem unless you've had work carried out or someone has been fiddling.

Try renewing the thermostat first, not expensive and easy to do.
