Was speaking to a friend earlier who used to replace thatching on old houses (A nearly dead trade obviously) and he told me when they was replacing the thatching he would find 'time capsule' with information from the person often 100+ years ago with information such as photos and names from the past.
Just wondering is this something that actually happened or was it a one off? and if so has anyone on here had some past experience in finding something?
He said this was about 20 years ago?
