Tips and Advice on How to Purchase Aggregates

Postby NicholasDoherty » Tue Dec 17, 2019 7:50 am

Any tips on how to find and purchase high-quality aggregates? Can you share some important things to consider and what red flags to look out for? We also heard that there are recycled aggregates in the market these days, and one of the aggregate suppliers that we are currently interested in offers them. What things should we keep in mind if we proceed on buying this?

Hi

The type of aggregate that you want to go for will very much depend on what it is being used for e.g. drainage, concreting etc.

We have a project page that goes through the most common types of aggregate and what they are used for that may help you further: https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/projects/t ... regate.htm

Kind Regards
