I recently replaced a split washer in our toilet inlet valve.
The toilet appears to be working fine and everything looks to be back in the right place doing what it should.
However for some reason now when the washing machine fills the toilet is making a loud 'groaning' kind of noise which stops if I flush the toilet.
They are positioned back to back with a wall dividing them.
Can any body tell me what I might be going on?
