Trv valve type - thermostat radiator valve

Postby Doughnutman » Mon Nov 14, 2022 1:21 pm

Please see photo.

I have a valve on my trv that looks bigger and wider than every other one I've seen on the Internet.

Can someone advise what this type is and what type of trv replacement/ fitting/size etc I might need to search for please.

Thanks

Many electronic TRV heads come with a selection of adaptors to fit many heads, but stage one is measure most say what threads they can be used with.

Mechanical heads often needs to be same make and type as orignal, only the electronic auto configure for pin travel. But with electronic even my cheap eQ-3 which cost me £15 each in 2019 auto adjust and show error code it travel too much or too little.

Thanks for the info. I just went out and bought a drayton trv4 and put it on to test it. And it's been working fine since.

Cheers
