Trying to Find Pipes Without Digging up Floor

Post by Usedbeef » Fri Aug 02, 2019 4:56 pm

Basically I had to have an extension rebuilt and since it was being rebuilt i moved the loo from one room to the next. A radiator was removed and the pipes removed. But the builders do not know whether they capped the pipes off as they dont remember the pipes being there (it was about 3 months ago they did it). Is there anyway to find the old pipes without digging up the floor?

Also the central heating was installed about 15-20 years ago. Would the radiators on the ground floor be likely to be run in a big loop or would each radiator have its own loop going to the boiler?
