Hello all, please could I have some advice on this project.I am planning to build a dog den under the stairs. Currently the space has vinyl/moduleo flooring in and plaster on the walls all around. I would like to build the dog den like the picture, but I don’t want to damage the flooring by having to drill the bottom plank into the floor. Do you guys have any suggestions of how I can achieve the den without drilling into the flooring and without removing the flooring?

3M VHB tape will do the job. Preferably get everything smooth first.
