Unscrewing a Very Tight Screw

I am having problems with unscrewing a screw which is tight. I have used different screwdrivers and Allen key.

One old trick is to apply a red-hot poker to the head of the screw for a minute or two to make it expand a bit, then loosen as it contracts.
