Upstairs lighting circuit

by Help321 » Sun Aug 24, 2008 7:37 pm

We have 5 lights upstairs, three bedroom, a bathroom and a landing. For some unknown reason the lights in two adjacent bedrooms are no longer working, all other work fine. the bulbs have been checked and are fine. any ideas?

ARE the switches in working order ?
Isolate power by switching off the mainswitch at mainsboard.
with a good torch examine wires at bedroom light fittings for
loose or lost connections , and carefully if access to loft above
this lighting circuit , look for any damaged cables.
If u still can t find anything u might need to get someone in.
