Using a laser measure

by Grandad99 » Wed May 27, 2020 2:21 pm

Measuring for a patio my extra long tape has jammed when rewinding. Can't be bothered to try to sort it as it's a good reason to get a modern laser one.

However all the illustrations in the adverts show them being used on solid objects and I wonder if they can be used to measure various points at ground level. Is it necessary to put a solid object at each point?

Hi grandad99
Generally yes - some manufacturers supply a reflective pad to position at the furthest point.

Thanks stoneyboy.

I'll make sure that I buy one that includes the pads
