I recently had a Velux roof window fitted (a good job done by my builder). I used to gain access to work on my old slate roof by opening the old skylight, and climbing out (with a safety harness attached) onto the roof, and using roof ladders etc. After reading/looking at the Velux instructions, I decided that it was a 'simple' job to open the new Velux widow, and remove the 'moveable' skylight part of the window, which it was. When I tried to refit the 'move able' part of the window, I had great difficulty in lining up the moveable hinges with the main window frame. Has anyone any hints on how I can in future refit the moveable part of the widow without to many problems? Thanks
