Ventilation Kits

by silver » Fri Apr 23, 2010 9:48 pm

I am in the middle of building a utility room in which to put the washer and dryer. Unfortunately the dryer is not on an outside wall, so to vent this I am thinking of going up in to the ceiling and out an access point in the roof.

Has anyone got any thoughts on vent kids?
What about condensation dripping back down?

Cheers

You'll need to fit a condensate trap on the vent pipe. Then the 22mm pipe will have to go to a drain.

Why not just use a tumble dryer vent box, will just need emptying.

May save alot of hassle.
