Victorian Terrace Outside Toilet Renovation

Postby taximania123 » Thu Jul 23, 2020 3:15 pm

Hi All , thanks for having me.
I am buying an old victorian terraced house.
I have to remove and block up the door to the outside and create a new one somewhere.
I have two options
1/ Theres a long window (see pics) that could be removed and relaced with a door
2/ i have a small outhouse directly off the kitchen but its just single brick and im afraid its not strong enough to take a full door, but i do have to convert/repair it to create a downstairs loo so its going to need work anyway.
What would you do and is there a huge difference in the costs?

Hi taximania
Option 1 will be the easiest and cheapest thus leaving the outhouse as a separate project.
