Recently I had reason to go into my loft, and I noticed the the Central Heating overflow was gushing out hot water, :? into the CH overflow tank.
Is this normal or is there a problem with the CH.

I checked the boiler and it was set to mid range 3 out of 5

Is there anything I should do like replace the pump ?
