Wall Switch Powered Window Mounted Kitchen Extractor Fan

Postby Old Bodger » Mon Feb 23, 2015 2:46 pm

Hi, Is there such a thing as a window mounted kitchen extractor fan that can be operated by a wall switch as opposed to a pull chord?

The position of our fan, high in an old sash window, makes it difficult to reach and use the pull chord effectively hence the question.

Any help/suggestions much appreciated.

Simply Build It

One can leave the fan switched on and power it from any remote switch but this will need wiring it will not likely come in kit form you have to buy all parts and put them together.
