WANTED! Terracotta air brick

Postby Smileysmile » Wed Apr 18, 2007 4:16 pm

I am a first timer so *hello*

My house was built in 2000 by Westbury homes (now Persimmons). An air brick just under the damp course of my back door leading into the garden has an inserted grille which has broken and in need of replacement without having to remove the whole air brick. I have measured the outside of the remaining air brick end to end which I have 216mm x 70mm. None of my local diy stores supply the same one. Can anybody enlighten me on where I can find a replacement?
Thank you. Scott

Simply Build It

Builders merchants will usually stock the insert or you can try clicking into our airbricks project as they may be available in the tools section at the bottom of that. If not see our replacing a damaged brick project as this is easy to do and you can fit a new airbrick in. A new brick is probably just as cheap.
