I wondered if anyone knows if you can decommission the water tank in a loft and still have water running in the rest of house?
I am getting someone to do a loft conversion with bathroom, but I don’t currently have the funds to pay for fitting the coffin tanks in the eves at this stage. I wanted to pay for the plumbing next year but wanted the builder to remove the current water tank and complete the building work now.
Can they just switch the pipes off and cut the tank out and expect the rest of the house water to work Ok?
The builder has quoted me to do the build and said someone else can quote for plumbing next year. He can’t work around the current watertank so is he going to cut the tank out and switch off water for 1 year? This is probably a stupid question but I’d appreciate any advice. Thanks Francine
