I really hope someone has some insight on my problem. My house is 7 vears old and we are the original owners. A strange odor has suddenly started in my 6 year olds playroom. I have searched high and low to figure out what it is! It has been going on for about a month and seems stronger than ever. The smell is almost like the smell of a freshly purchased plastic shower liner. I dont think it is mold because there is no musty smell to it and it is only in her room. I took off all of the electrical face plates in the room including the light fixture to see if there was any water or melting wires and everything looked fine. The room is on the second floor and there is a bathroom adjacent to it. I would love any thoughts about this before I pay a lot of money for an estimate! Thank you Thank you!!
