wet patches in bedroom

Post by diamondchick » Fri Nov 26, 2010 9:03 pm

Hi,

We havent had any heating for about 4-6 weeks as the boiler broke and havent been having the window open very often, today in 2 corner of our bedroom on the outside wall, wet patches have appeared. We had noticed alot of condensation in the window, when weve taken a black out blind down. I called the plumber out as I thought it was due to the new boiler, but he said it wasnt as there are no pipes in the corners. What do you think this could be?Thank you very much. :?:

diamondchick,
Most likely that your house has got damp in 4-6 weeks and now the heat is back on the damp is being vapourised and is condensing on cold areas in your home. Do nothing - just keep an eye on it over the next 6 months.
end
