I'm going to be moving into a flat soon. The flat will need re decorating with one of the rooms being the kitchen. I'd like to paint the kitchen units, and walls.
Something that will put more light into the room.
What colours can you recommend for the kitchen units and walls?
Only as I thought it looks sunny and refreshing: shades of pale or yellow. But not deep yellow, that is ugggh, try a Springy yellow or a light shade of green, bit more charming. That will make your kitchen look like a fresh kitchen 24/7, where painted cabinets and walls share a bright colour.
The other options are for white and neutral paint colors. Seems to make the room look bigger.
In my opinion, very dark colors can optically reduce a room, but with well-chosen furniture, they can also optically modernize and build an atmosphere of the interior
Oh my gosh I love talking kitchen colours! I agree with above - yellow and green work surprisingly well in the kitchen. So does a light blue as well! Do you have any general colours you're leaning towards?
