What to do With old Oil Boiler Flue on Kitchen Wall

Post by Magik58 » Fri Jan 22, 2016 2:06 pm

Hi
I am new to the forum , I have looked at some old posts but none really relate to my problem, which is I have a large kitchen wall 3.5 X 2.5m and at one end two thirds of the way up the wall is an old oil boiler flue that goes up to the chiminey to its own pot next to the one from the fireplace. The boiler was removed and relocated and has its own flue not connected to this one or the chimney. I want to now decorate this wall with brim slips, what should/can I do with the hole?

Regards

I think you need put a lid to cover the hole that goes to chiminey. Once you covered it, just paint the lid with the same color in your kitchen wall. After that you may start to put a decoration in your kitchen wall.
